Welcome to my 2 story contemporary home ideally located in the Colee Hammock neighborhood of downtown Fort Lauderdale. We offer an alley-facing private single family home in the middle of a vibrant city. You have an easy 3 block walk to dining, entertainment and shopping. Colee Hammock is a friendly, walkable neighborhood connected by tree shaded sidewalks.
The first floor is an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining room and living area. Off the main living space is a combo office/work-out space with a sleeper sofa, a standing desk and a Peloton for your use. The first floor is oriented to a landscaped courtyard with a 6 foot privacy fence. There are vaulted ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. There is ample work space in the kitchen with a breakfast bar The first floor is appointed with marble floors and hardwood adorns the stairs and upper level.
Bedroom 1 is a bright oversized room with a wet bar/coffee bar, wine cooler and sink. The bedroom leads to a spacious balcony with 2 lounge chairs and a bistro table and chairs - perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The adjoining bath has a dual-sink with an oversized walk-in shower. There is a private toilet and a bidet.
Bedroom 2 and 3 are also bright rooms with a queen bed in each room. These rooms share a full-size hall bath. Both bedrooms offer ample closet space, a desk and a chair which makes the home perfect for WFH.
The entire home has high-speed wireless internet, a printer and a shredder. We also have an air mattress available upon request. The home was custom built and the materials are high quality and well crafted. The doors are solid core and oversize.
There is garage parking for one car and an additional car can be parked in the driveway. A street pass is available as well.
There are 2 beach cruisers, 2 beach chairs and an umbrella for your use. We are a short walk from Ann Beck Park where you can launch paddleboards, kayaks and enjoy yoga in the park. Taking a left on Las Olas Boulevard you are approximately 1 mile from Fort Lauderdale Beach and the Venice of America. Taking a right on Las Olas you will find eateries, shopping, and entertainment.
Holiday Park, a 1/2 mile away features the Jimmy Evert Tennis Center with 18 lighted courts. There are many opportunities for private instruction, clinics, and classes open to the public. Additionally there are pickleball courts, a playground, a fitness center, bridge club and walking trails.
Please note while children are welcome. the home is not childproofed. Please be mindful of the steps.
This is a perfect spot for friends and family seeking sunshine, privacy and space. Remote workers are welcome!
