Million dollar views in a spartan yet modern cabin. The HOKU HAÜS is a simple 10x12 cube with a wood stove to keep warm in the winter and 2 large sliding barn doors to enjoy the hill country breeze. There are only 2 chairs in the cabin NO BED...it would not let me publish a one room cabin with no bed,,, so you will need to bring your camping gear for sleeping. Sleeping pads, bags, pillows, blankets etc. perhaps an air mattress. THINK SLUMBER PARTY. There are solar lights in the cabin. We have a nice fire pit area outside where you can cook on a grill that sits on the pit. There’s a small deck on the side of the cabin with a small table and 2 chairs to enjoy your food or beverages. This little cabin is an ideal couples getaway! Best suited for 2 people plus a dog or 2. The cabin has a SEPERATE OUT HOUSE with a composting bucket that we change and sanitize between stays. Again there is no running water or electricity on the property. There is a fairly flat parking area by the dirt road you come in on. Then it’s a short but STEEP trail up to the cabin. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle you can get much closer to the cabin by way of an easement road. We also have an A frame cabin on an adjacent lot that we also rent out. There is good separation between the 2 so please respect their privacy and they will do the same. Each cabin has its own outhouse so you are not sharing potties 😊 We look forward to your visit!
