Positive: My favourite stay in Thailand. I came here to get away from the crowds, do a little work and job hunting and really unwind and I couldn’t have chosen better! Tucked away in the hills north of Chiang Mai, I wandered the little rural roads, sat in beautiful cafes and finally beat my jet lag! Amee and Lara, my hosts, could not have been nicer and they adopted me from day one. Travelling on my own, I expected this to be a very solo bit of my trip, but I was invited in for dinner, taken hiking in the hills and entertained whenever I wanted. And the two rambunctious puppies just made my day(s)! With hourly busses and minibuses straight into the centre of Chiang Mai, this is the perfect place to relax.
