We rent out a holiday home located directly on the beach in beautiful surroundings. The property is located in a small complex called "Cala Linda". It consists of 16 houses, but each house is set on a spacious garden plot, which offers personal privacy. German owners and holiday guests live there all year round. The fully furnished holiday villa has 2 bedrooms, which are equipped with air conditioning, each with a bathroom with shower, WC and hand basin, a bright, fully equipped kitchen with fridge including freezer compartment, gas hob with oven and a pantry, as well as a spacious living room and a guest WC. A free internet flat rate is available. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cater for yourself. The spacious, largely covered terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea. This leads to a high quality of outdoor living at temperatures of around 30 degrees Celsius, which is typical for the season. There are standing and ceiling fans in the house and on the terrace.
The centrepiece of the well-tended and lovingly landscaped garden of approx. 1,200 m² with typical local plants is the large, clean, feel-good pool. Each holiday home has its own pool. The pool and garden are regularly maintained. The beach is natural and sandy or stony depending on the weather. The sea has a sometimes strong current/surf depending on the weather and should therefore only be used by experienced swimmers. We recommend sturdy beach shoes.
A German and Spanish-speaking manager (born in Munich) lives on site, offers a shopping, cleaning and laundry service (for a fee) with her staff and takes care of the comfort of our guests. Please note that 2 towels and 2 bath towels are provided free of charge for one person per week, as well as fresh bed linen and pillowcases once a week free of charge.If you would like more towels, bath towels or bed linen or would like a change, no problem, our house manager Christine will wash, dry and deliver folded, even your personal laundry, to your holiday home for a fee. In the Dominican Republic there is no guaranteed 24-hour mains power supply. If necessary, the electricity can be switched off between midday and evening! The emergency power supply (batteries) in the house will provide you with electricity for up to 24 hours. When the emergency power system is activated, only appliances that can be switched off, such as water heaters for bathing or fans that are not used during the day, should not be switched on. We will be happy to provide you with further information in writing.
The high-quality, solidly built holiday homes (German architect standard) are located in the Dominican Republic in a very beautiful area approx. 70 km west of the capital Santo Domingo. The nearest shopping town, Bani, with a population of approx. 40,000, is approx. 5 km away; the connecting road is somewhat stony and should be used at a moderate speed. Here you can get everything for your daily needs (shopping centre with European standards) and is easily accessible with a rental car. The direct location on the beach is unique. The bay is kilometres wide, almost deserted and without mass tourism. From here you can explore the south of the Dominican Republic. The property management can help organise excursions on request.
